About Sergey, NP
My journey in medicine began after my long-held construction business came to a halt during the recession. The abrupt closing of my business was a challenging time for my family of four, including my wife and two young children. Facing the challenge head on, I decided I wanted to seek a career that was meaningful, so I took the opportunity to return to school and pursue a degree in nursing.
After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in nursing with honors and a full-right scholarship awarded to me by the Ford Family Foundation, I began my career as an emergency nurse at Salem Hospital in Oregon. Working as an ER nurse instilled a passion in me for helping others, and I knew I wanted to continue developing my knowledge and skills in the medical field. Thus, I enrolled in a graduate program at Maryville University to be a family nurse practitioner. Upon completion of the graduate program, I began working for a local medical group in Boise in the urgent care center.
Working in the frontlines at the urgent care center when COVID-19 began, I saw thousands of people affected by the virus. In my pursuit to keep up with the most effective treatment options for the virus, I noticed many doctors in the private sector sharing successful treatments that were not inline with mainstream medicine. Due to the rules and restrictions placed on medical personnel in corporate medicine, I realized I was extremely limited in the types of treatments I was able to administer to my patients.
This newfound awareness of how politics in medicine was affecting my ability to treat my patients became a catalyst for me to shift into the private sector and exercise evidence-based medicine, uncensored by politics. As I began learning about functional medicine, my world opened up to a more patient-centered, holistic way of supporting people on their health journey, which included nutrition, lifestyle choices, disease prevention, and regenerative medicine.
I am very excited to join Evolution Chiropractic and Wellness Clinic with Doctors Jeremy and Jessica Payne. The primary services I will be providing in the clinic include orthopedic joint injections for degenerative arthritis, an all-natural solution to peripheral neuropathy, and preservative-free nutrient IV therapy.
During my free time, I love creating memories with my wife, Galina, and our two children, Elizabeth and Daniel. We enjoy taking walks on the green belt, going downtown to enjoy fine cuisine, or staying at home and watching a good movie. Other hobbies of mine include gardening, listening to music, cooking nutritious meals, and exercising.
I greatly look forward to getting to know each of my patients and am committed to providing the support and care they deserve!

Ever since I can remember I have found myself naturally wanting to heal people. I even played as a healer when it came to games.
When it came time to choose my career I knew it had to revolve around healing others on a holistic level. I was doing research about holistic approaches and I was pulled to massage therapy. I never had any experience massaging people or any background behind it at all but I went for it and now I want to massage almost everyone I meet.
Helping people feel better whether it be through massage therapy, emotionally, mentally, or even spiritually is my calling. It’s such a blessing to get an opportunity to help someone feel better and live their best life.
