
The Global 5G Health Epidemic is Here … Here’s What to Do
It seems everyone has a cell phone. The rise of smartphones seems unstoppable. Every year Samsung, Apple, and other telecom-related companies announce record sales over the previous year. Do you know what else is going up? Cancer rates, autoimmune disorders, and autism rates. The risk of developing some form of disease or cancer has risen right alongside the explosion of cell phone use.
Could there be a connection?
If you know me by now, you know I don’t pull any punches where the health and wellness of children is concerned. Before I take a position on any health topic, I do exhaustive research and consult with my patients and other health professionals.
I have two wonderful daughters and I want them to be as healthy in mind and body as they can possibly be, and I am sure you feel the same way about the children in your life.
Cancer doesn’t allow that.
The research clearly shows there is a cancer/cell phone link. I found that telecom companies are shortening the height of their cell towers. This means more towers are needed to broadcast signals over a given area. But why choose shorter towers?
It’s because cell towers under 200 feet do not have to be registered with the FCC (Federal Communications Commission). We are told the frequencies being transmitted by telecom companies for 4G and 5G signals are safe. If that is true, why do these companies want to keep the information about these frequencies from the FCC, and from you and me?
With the development of 5G technology, the cancer that has been linked scientifically to cell phone use is only going to become more of a problem. Consider these unsettling science-based findings:
- “Regular use of a cell phone by adults can significantly increase the risk of gliomas by 40% with 1,640 hours or more of use.” 2010 Interphone study
- “The experiment has been done and, after extensive reviews, the consensus is that there was a carcinogenic (cancer causing) effect (of using cell phones).” 2016 U.S National Toxicology Program (NTP) report on cancer from cell phone radiation
- “The NTP has finally released a report confirming what hundreds of other studies have shown—namely that cell phone radiation levels we all encounter every day significantly increase malignant tumors of the brain and nerves as well as cause damage to the heart and DNA.” 2018 peer reviews that confirmed 2016 NTP findings
The Interphone study included several countries and more than $25 million dollars was spent to see if there was any truth to the notion that cell phone use raised cancer rates. It was set up by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC).
The NTP research released in 2016 is regarded as the largest and most well-conducted type of study on cell phone radiation. The huge, $30 million study spanned a full 10 years, so this is not some flash-in-the-pan research.
The findings were so startling that peer reviews were conducted to either support or contrast the findings. These 2018 studies stated that there was “clear evidence of cancer” as a result of exposure to cell phone radiation.
The gliomas mentioned in the Interphone study are tumors that usually develop in the spine or the brain. Once your doctor discovers a glioma, you are only expected to survive 1 to 3 years. Regarding the 1,640-hour exposure level that leads to a 40% increased chance of developing gliomas, that is only 1 hour of cell phone use per day over 5 years.
Incidentally, increased cell phone usage the last 10 or 20 years among teens and young adults mirrors the increase in malignant brain tumors. They are “… the most common cause of cancer-related deaths in adolescents and young adults aged 15 to 39, and the most common cancer occurring among 15 to 19-year-olds.”

5G and Cell Phone Usage Are Not Just Cancer-Causing Problems
The Ericcson company created the first 5G cell phone technology for consumer use in 2017. It was first used to place cellular phone calls in South Korea in early 2019. It hasn’t been around very long related to cell phone technology, and that’s a good thing.
The growing 5G cell phone industry promises fewer dropped calls, faster downloads, quicker call placement and better internet access than in the past.
The problem is that to speed things up and deliver the “I want it now” experience so many modern people demand, more wireless transmitters are needed to house this more powerful technology. This means more of an exposure to the electromagnetic fields (EMFs) created by wireless 5G phones and towers. This 5G access will also be found in home computer routers, gaming consoles, and even in your car in the very near future.
Your cell phone emits radiation through radio frequencies and this is a type of EMF. Cell phone radiation can affect you at the cellular level, and we are not talking about cellular towers. Down to the very cells with which dictate how healthy or sick you become, electromagnetic fields and the frequencies produced by cell phones can change how your cells grow.
You have cells in every part of your body. This means you, your children, and the people you love can suffer from a long list of mental and physical health issues because you can’t seem to go anywhere without your phone.
Headaches, short tempers, sleep disorders, problems with attention and focus and even depression have been linked to frequent cell phone usage. Some studies have reported negative changes in brain activity, a weaker heart and cardiovascular system and an overall decrease in immune system health as other cell phone-related problems.
The Answer to the 5G EMF Health Problem
There are a few simple ways to take control of the situation. You can automatically and significantly lower the cancer and overall health threat of 5G wireless technology by unplugging. Go wired instead of wireless. Turn your phone off when you are not using it so it will not emit radiation and electromagnetic frequencies.
Stop carrying your phone in a pocket or some other place close to your body when it is powered on. Purchase an EMF-testing meter if you want hard evidence of the dangerous levels you might be exposing your family to.
Use the speakerphone mode on your phone. When you place your phone against the side of your head, you are shortening the distance radiation has to travel to get to your brain! Studies show that even moving your phone just 2 or 3 inches away from your body when you are talking helps minimize your exposure greatly. Placing it in hands-free, speakerphone mode and setting it down rather holding it next to your ear is a smart move.
Understand that this is not just a 5G problem.
All wireless routers and technologies deliver some level of EMF radiation. The current move to 5G just makes the problem worse. Switch to 3G technology. If you own an iPhone, go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Enable LTE and select the “OFF” position. This puts you in 3G mode.
There are phone sleeves and cases that block EMFs. If you have a wireless phone system in your home, choose wired instead. Get a wired mouse and keyboard for your computer rather than wireless. Don’t buy a smart watch that has wireless Internet access. Any exposure to wireless technology improves the chances that 5G and other generations of wireless connectivity can harm the health of you and your children.
Unfortunately, wireless exposure is only going to become more prevalent in the coming years, and this means more of an exposure to radiation that has been proven to cause so many health problems. Give your children and yourself the gift of a clean environment and you have the best chance at being healthy and happy.
